Hello, I just painted my walls Periwinkle bud, looks great, the carpet however is a little dark. What to do?

The room looks great! But I got the carpet in a darker brown then I should have. What do you suggest I do. How about adding some cream pillows or a throw, or lighter drapes/shades? Make sure you have a three light sources in the room, with light lampshades for optimum brightness. You can also find a few things like vases, photos, pillows with the lime green, to add some brightness. It's good to have 3 colors in a room. I would also suggest a rug that ties all the colors together.

Since paint is a bargain as opposed to carpet, PAINT OVER, gee.

try a tan. it should naturally blend.


Go to a home depot and by the little samples, place them on the floor and decide what you like best. It's all personal preference. hope I helped and Happy New Year!

accent rug over the top of the other rug.

Maybe a rug on the carpet would pull some color down from the walls?
get a big pink carpet and lay it in the center of the room
