I want two coats on vertical stripes painted on my walls, will I be ok taking the tape off after the 2nd coat?

I read on here to take off the tape early to avoid peeling off the paint. I need two coats so I have one coat on now and we're doing the 2nd coat today. Will I be ok taking off the tape immediately after applying the 2nd coat? Is there a technique to this? If your have painter's tape it will come off with no chances of peeling the paint. I would wait for the wall to dry. If it's not painter's tape all I can say is take it off slow and easy when it's almost dry so the paint won't run.

well... do the first coat... wait till it dries then the second coat then let that drie... then u can take the tape off!!!!
