Anime picture to paint on wall??

I am repainting my room. I want to put a large anime painting on one of my walls. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should paint on it. The background is going to be white, because it's easier to paint on. I'd appreciate a link so I can look at the picture. I'm a huge fan of anime so I' love the suggestions.Anime picture to paint on wall??
Well thats not very specific...if it was me, I'd think of my fave anime and then think of my fave character. LIke i really love Bleach. I would go online and find maybe a coloring page with all the characters on it or whatever, print it out, put the page on a little projector thingy and then trace the pic out onto the wall from the projected image. Then i'd color it in. But i cant really answer your question because there's so many anime cartoons/books out there noone has anyidea what you have in mind.Anime picture to paint on wall??
Youj might start out with a Yahoo images search of ';anime'; to get an idea about what type of characters you might like. If you are artistically inclined, you might freehand a sketch based on a picture that gives you inspiration, or project an image and trace.

There are a number of books that can help you learn to draw manga, for example

These sources should help give you some idea about what you would like and how to paint it.
Can you be a little more specific? Do you want a dark, emoish painting, a happy one, what?

  • I recently bought new couches, they are houseplant/palm green, I have no idea what color to paint my walls.?

My furniture is cherrywood with black accents. They couches look great with the furniture but I have no idea what color to paint the walls or what color scheme to decorate with to match with the couches... I wasn't thinking along those lines when I bought them because I just loved the color and didn't think about how difficult it would be a design around them. Please help!!!I recently bought new couches, they are houseplant/palm green, I have no idea what color to paint my walls.?
light colors always make a room lighter, maybe a beige or taupe. I would accent the furniture with art that mirrors the new furniture.I recently bought new couches, they are houseplant/palm green, I have no idea what color to paint my walls.?
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family %26amp; color name, the ';painted'; rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a very pale yellow like ';crisp linen'; (# 6378) would look lovely.
earthy tones are nice, maybe a a light brownish green color

is a good website to look at color schemes that other people have submitted, there might be something on there that might help
I would do a tan that goes with the green
I would go with neutrals - cream, tan, beige.

How do u get spray paint off of wooden walls?

theres lots of spraypaint in my room on the wooden walls. how do i get it off?How do u get spray paint off of wooden walls?
The Lowes answer may be correct, but have never tried it. Spray paint is different from brush on in that it permeates the wood fibers a little more, especially if it is sprayed on heavily.

Sanding can work, using large grit to begin with and moving to smaller grit paper, but how much you can get off depends on whether or not there are corners, grooves, etc. Steel wool with a paint remover may work as well, but be sure to wear rubber gloves when you do it.How do u get spray paint off of wooden walls?
Try the product called ';GOOF OFF' being it's a wall I'd %26amp; will run down try putting it on a white rag {dye will come out of colored] %26amp; rub. IT comes in spray %26amp; liquid at paint stores
Lowes sells paint remover that will safely remove paint from wood. It has citrus added to it.
I agree with the paint remover from Lowes or any hardware or paint store. They have all different types. Be sure you buy a product that is safe to use indoors or else you will need lots of vent elation. Be sure to get a product that will work with Oil based paint as most spray paint is oil based. Also get a paste or gel product that will stick to the wall. The liquid kind would not work as well on the wall. You also may need a wire brush or scraper to remove the paint once it starts to loosen up.

Need advice on painting running walls into other rooms?

I want to paint the kitchen one color but do not have any walls or breaks that stop to have a different color into hallways or the office.

    How do I do this?

Please look at pictures and tell me how to do this without adding molding to separate them.

Example: I want the office room maybe a dark green, and the kitchen egg shell white, and the hallway a different color.

After looking at your pictures, my best advice to you would be to paint in colors that are complementary to each other since you can see into one room from the other through those archways. The dark green and eggshell (or some other color of offwhite or taupe) would work well together. To make the transition between rooms paint each room in the desired color right up the the edges of the archways and doorways using painter's tape to make it a clean line. Then paint the inside of the archways with the lighter color to make the transition. In my opinion, this makes the transition much more appealing to the eye than using the darker color in the archway or a moulding. My friend and I did this in the transition between her living room and kitchen which are very open to each other with a half wall in between. Her living room is a dark brown and her kitchen is a light beige. It came out very well. Best of luck with your project!Need advice on painting running walls into other rooms?
Jennifer is right and with your arches it will look quite nice. You could coordinate your hall with a nice matching color that will go with both the kitchen and the office room. The prettiest dark green I have seen (I put it in my bedroom) is called Rosemary - its by Behr which Home Depot carries. This is such a saturated color that you can match alot with it. Look at the color card the Rosemary comes on and consider the lightest of those colors for the kitchen and the middle of those colors for the hallway. Good transitions all and quite attractive with your archways. Lots of work but well worth it.
If you go to your local home depo. they have color swatch books just for this. Make sure that your colors are complementary.

try home improvement store like lowe's or home depot or even a craft store for stencils and/or stickers. or you may want to hire a professional artist. How can I paint my sons walls to look like under water (spongebob theme)?
spong paint blues, white and light greens...add fish coral etc
Paint walls with an aqua marine color. I use Walmart color Blue lagoon. Cover the whole area with this color. Paint your sponge bob pictures over this. What gives you the under water look is the addition of bubbles. Water down white paint and float on in a circle. Hightlight one edge with pink or lavender to give it a irredecent look. You don't need alot of bubbles just a few here and there.
why dont you just get the garden hose and go for the real thing no just kidding you can go light blue and paint the bubbles on the wall light blackish circle with a blend of white in itor light blueish circle better yet and draw bubbles practice first in your bed room hahaha

  • What colour to paint my wall?

    Hey guys,

I'm looking to paint my bedroom. We currently have a mix-match of furniture (white, oak veneer, and cream) and a duvet cover that is a blueish gray with stitching in the shape of leaves that is taupe in colour. The sheets match the stitching.

I'd like to have the wall the bed is on really stand out as I don't have a headboard. I was thinking jewel tones (I love purple and my bf has relented to let me paint ONE wall purple).

My current plan is light gray, almost steel coloured for 3 walls, and a deep almost eggplant purple for the wall at the head of the bed. Barring that, all 4 walls the gray and I buy some fabric and make a padded headboard.

Any suggestions??What colour to paint my wall?
Your paint idea is on target. I would finish the look and paint all the furniture black. This would pop with the gray walls. What colour to paint my wall?
    Your idea sounds really pretty
