Off white or beige with one wall in red as an accent wall. Get the color as close to one of the two colors you already have with the furniture. No more things in red though or you'll be over doing it.I bought red sofas and cherry color tables. I don't know what color to paint my walls? Any suggestions?
You definitely want to balance out some of that rich, bold color by using some more muted tones throughout the room. Try a light mocha color, and use brown, mocha and creme accent pieces throughout the room. And instead of painting an accent wall in red, which is a color that can really tend to overpower a room, try finding a piece of art with red as the predominant color and using it either directly opposite or directly behind your sofa.

I have a red sofa and I painted my walls ';barley'; from Benjamin Moore. It's in the yellow family, but it is not a sunshiny yellow. I love it but it would also look good in deeper shades from the same paint chip. Go to their website and you can play with color (www.benjaminmoore.com) . If you are near a Benjamin Moore store, go get some paint chips and hold them up to your wood and see which complements it best. Truth be told, I got mine color matched at Lowe's so it was less expensive. I don't like accent walls, personally, and painting a red wall may take several coats. Plus, you will have to get a pretty perfect match to make it look right.
Those are some dark and rich colors. You need to play down the other colors in the room and only have a splash of red somehwere else. You could always have a muted brown or beige with some cream accents. Have a black leather chair with a red and cream colored pillow.
My living room is a nice golden yellow. I have red, white and black as accent colors. My sofa is upholstered in red and it looks great with the other furnishings in black and brown. Have fun!
i totally agree with Jennae P. You already have bright accessories so you can go neutral with your wall colour. This way if you want to change your sofa or tables you will not have to change your wall colour. You can use gold and a print as accents.
The question that I'd like to ask before answering is what kind of style do you like? Modern, traditional, etc.
And then It would be easier to give an answer.
If you have a fairly large room, Maybe go for a brown, It would look really nice with the red.
I have used a color called artichoke from Sherwin Williams that works well with those colors.
Artichoke is a medium to deep green.
Sand, tan, beige for the paint. White trim and black accents would look great.
Yellow or a gold tone (visualize brown mustard)
Soft white walls with black curtains.
orange
paint it beige
hmm...black with an accent wall of red
