I just bought new furniture (olive) what color should i paint my walls??

My furniture is olive with a golden sheen to the fringe of the pillows. I have no clue what to paint the walls. I need new carpet too.. any ideas??I just bought new furniture (olive) what color should i paint my walls??

Light cream colour walls and for the carpet same olive colour with golden yellow edge
stick with a light, neutral color since you have such a strong color in the furniture. A deep cream or golden tan would look nice. For the carpet, get a warm beige color that's easy on the eyes.
okay for the walls go with a deep honey color and olny paint that room that the furniture is in that way it wont throw off the other colors int he kitchen and dinning room. as for carpet either a cream or white is alwasy nice because its a neutral color.
I would paint the room something like ';sedate gray'; or ';spinach white'; by Sherwin Williams. Both are quite light %26amp; will highlight the darker furniture well.

As for the carpet, I would also suggest a neutral, like a gray or a griege.
I love taupe against, gold, olive and neutral colors. It created a warm elegant atmosphere.





Anything warm will do, a deep tan, a darker or lighter olive. taupe is like a mix of tan and even a warm darker red would look fabulous. good luck.
