What color should i paint my walls?! I need decorating help!?

I am moving into an apt next month and need help with my bedroom. I have gold sheets and a dark purple duvet cover from ikea and dark purple paisley throw pillows from pier one. What colors should my walls be? Should I make them all a warm golden color, with one wall a dark royal purple; or is that too much purple and gold? Should i go with an entirely different color?What color should i paint my walls?! I need decorating help!?
I think because the duvet is purple, having the walls gold will make the bed a focal point. Normaly the accent wall in a bedroom should be the wall the bed is on, but the problem there is that if your bed is purple, and your accent wall is purple, and your bed is on the accent wall, the bed will be less of a focal point. If you have any artisitc inclination, you could paint the accent wall gold with purple paisley, or gold with purple stripes. You could also paint the wall gold and in solid purple paint the outline of a tree, but I wouldn't make it all purple. If you wanted to break up the gold and purple, you could introduce an new accent color, but not too much. You could introduce a cream or a royal blue, but I would do that in a subtle way, and not on the walls, unless it is in a piece of art.What color should i paint my walls?! I need decorating help!?

you can find a focus point like a picture. and pull a color out of that also. to help blend everything in
