What colour shall i paint my bedroom walls?

Hiya





I'm getting my bedroom decorated and i don't know what colour to paint my walls. It's a moderate size room, not to big but not tiny. I'm getting built in wardrobes/closets with mirrors on the front. My favourite colours are black, white, red, purple and hot pink. I'm a 14 year old girl by the way :)

You should go with a deep purple with light decorations and stuff. My friend recently got her bedroom redone, and she put really nice wallpaper up, but just on one of the walls. I think ';antiquity'; (# 6402) might be a good choice for the wall color, and then you both can choose whatever color of bedding you want.

You can get color suggestions %26amp; for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
First find a comforter set that you adore! Pick a couple colors out of it and do the headboard wall in one color and the other 3 walls in another color. Get frames for the walls and frame some prints with the same colors.


Just remember decorating is done in 3 colors. You could have a solid comforter and take colors out of prints that have that color and a couple of other colors to paint your walls.

How about having one feature wall in quite a striking colour, maybe a teal, or one of your favorites you mentioned, then painting the other walls white or similar so that in different lights the lighter walls will reflect the colour of the feature wall.
Well, i am a 13 year old girl and im painting my room too! Mines a large room with hard wood floor and i think im going to go with a lighter purple color:)

Red and amber, gives a nice contrast, for example one wall red and the others in amber.

hi ave just had my room done and ave got sum walls white and the back wall red and red bin lampshade varse, rug ti look really nice

You need a colour that is warm and calming for a bedroom.
Light purple. with dark purple and black or white furniture.
How about a light purple, blue, green, etc. It shouldn't be too dark, though.
