depends on your decor. what are you using to decorate? with dark floors, i would go with something light. if you go dark, the room will be dark. there are alot of different types of rollers that really accent the walls well. using glaze helps bring out different textures. but again it all depends on what colors you have to decorate with. have funI have a dark hardwood floor, what color should i paint the walls?
Any earth tone color, beige, sage, just keep the paint light to offset the darkness of the floors.
My aunt and uncle have dark hardwood floors and they painted their walls sort of a beige earth tone color and the two really compliment each other.

Light blue, light sage green and beige are just a few choices that go well with dark brown.
Egg shell white. Keep it very light to off set the dark floor.
