I have windows on two walls in my bedroom. Should I paint those walls darker or lighter than the other walls?

Not necessarily. But it makes sense to paint a room that gets a lot of light a little darker. Or maybe it's better to say that it is O.K. to paint a brightly lit room a little darker. But if I were set on having two colors in that room, I would paint those walls with the windows lighter than the other walls, since the walls with windows will be darker than the walls that the light shines on from the windows.I have windows on two walls in my bedroom.
