I will be painting 2 adjoining walls different colors, but the corner has eroded... (more with a link to pic)?

the sharp corner has in some areas rounded off from a sharp edge. Because of this, it will be hard to place the painters tape and i think will not make the colored walls sharp looking, how can i fix this?

Here is the pic of the wall corner i am talking about:

the easiest way to fix your problem is to refill the corner with drywall compound (one side at a time) start out with a 6 inch mud knife and do the whole side from top to bottom ,try to keep it as smooth as possible!! once it dries sand it lightly and make sure you get all of the dried up bumps off of the actual corner and the do the other side of the corner the same way!! once it is dry sand it a little bit to smooth it all out and then you will need to do the same process with a 10 inch mud knife one side at a time and sand between coats! It sounds like a lot of work but you could have it done in a day just make sure that the compound is totally dry before you sand it!! this will have your corner looking nice and sharp and perfect and your tape will stick on without damage!! if you need any more help on this just let me know ok !! Go to the hardware store and ask for a drywall corner and get some drywall mud. Place the corner, mud it, let it dry,and repeat, maybe up to 3 times. Then it'll look sharp and new and can be painted very easily.

If you don't want to do all that work, and want to leave the bad looking corner like it is, you'll jus thave to use a tiny brush or something and do the best you can freehand.
They make corner pieces that you put on, and then mud to make them smooth with the wall. I don't know what you call it specifically, but I just helped my boyfriend do that to his bathroom remodel. It takes some time to mud and sand, but well worth it!
You could not use the corner as a dividing line. You could just move the dividing line over from the corner that way you can have a nice crisp line, and it can make a room look wider or longer depending on how you do it. Good luck.
