How to Clean White Walls
Step 1Find a medium-sized bucket that can be sealed tightly. Head into the kitchen. Pour 1 gallon of water at room-temperature, 1/4 cup of ammonia, 1/4 cup of white vinegar, and 1/4 cup of baking soda into the bucket.
Step 2Stir the contents of the bucket, or seal the lid tightly and shake. Then carry it to the wall you're planning on washing. Line the floor with white towels for when the solution drips down. Have one extra white towel set aside.
Step 3Take your extra white towel and dip part of it in the cleaning solution. Use this to wipe your wall in circular motions. To prevent water streaking, wash from bottom to top. Apply a bit of extra pressure where you see stains.
Step 4Even if the stains are small, wash the entire wall. This will give the whole thing a uniform look; others will notice if you only wash one section. Also keep in mind: wall stains will simply burn through another layer of paint.I got green paint on a white wall and can't take it off!!!?
